Adventures in Vancouver, BC 2006
More accurately, I'd title them Misadventures in Vancouver. We didn't take many pictures in Vancouver, sadly.

We took the tourism center's advice and went to Stanley Park. And because of the aforementioned lack of cash, we were worried we couldn't park. Alas, their parking meters in the park took credit cards, but we couldn't find any meters that were in working order. We also decided that we weren't going to the aquarium (which we heard was really nice), since we didn't want to spend the money, nor did we want to leave the doglies in the car for too long. In Stanley Park, they also had these touristy totem poles, so we took a few pictures to prove that we were in Canada. My dad has pictures in front of these totem poles from more than 20 years before.

We took a walk around Beaver Lake (it was kinda a dinky marshy lake). Then we drove down to Chinatown and did a little shopping there.

Misadventures? why? well, Dan took Christy's new car down a one-way street IN THE WRONG DIRECTION. Just so we could go to a restaurant that was already shutdown for renovations. So we decided to go home hungry. But on our way home, we stopped by Granville Island. It's a bit hard to find, but it is truly a hidden gem. We had some dinner there.
